EMDR

EMDR

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an eight-step process and a form of short-term Psychotherapy that works to resolve an issue in fewer sessions than traditional Psychotherapy. EMDR examines and helps the Client cope with a Traumatic Event(s) that can obstruct and simmer within the Client causing depression, anxiety, pain, suffering, and distress. EMDR allows the brain to process these disturbing images, flashbacks, and memories, and when the blockage is illuminated the Client can change how they react to the traumatic event and begin to heal.
