In the beginning it was more on than off, now once a year or every few years I go in for a “tune up” The skills and strategies I’ve learned I use on a daily basis. Life sometimes goes sideways and I know when that happens I can turn to First Step Therapy to gain some perspective and some new tools to add to my “tool box” to move forward. My whole life I have tried therapy and most places I went to, I usually would be turned off right away. At First Step Therapy I felt comfortable right away. Deirdre has been extremely helpful in giving me the tools and confidence to  come to healthy conclusions with all the goods and bads that life has thrown my way. I never thought therapy was good for me intill  I started my sessions here.  I have made major progress the last few years  in my life and without the work I’ve been able to do here I’m not sure it would had been possible. I am so Grateful. Plus I must say the offices at First Step Therapy are very well kept and a comfortable environment to be in.
