Tracey Gecewicz – LCSW-R
Ms. Tracey Gecewicz obtained her Master’s in Social Work from Fordham University with a BS in Social Work from Long Island University’s C.W. Post Campus, where she was on the Dean’s List at both Universities. Ms. Gecewicz is a verified provider on Psychology Today.
Tracey maintains a well established Private Practice where she provides therapeutic services to individuals (18 years and up), couples, and families dealing with a wide ranges of issues including, but not limited to anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, divorce and marital discord. Ms. Gecewicz is EMDR trained and employs psychotherapy, CBT, and Behavioral Modification when indicated. In addition, Tracey provides Adoptive Home-Study Analysis in order for the prospective parent(s) to meet the pre-adoption requirements for New York State and the Interstate Compact.
Tracey Gecewicz has 15 years experience in child welfare throughout Long Island, New York City and Westchester County. She was the Director for both an innovative foster care program for Hard to Place Teens and a prominent Mental Health Clinic in NYC.
