Types of Treatment Modalities/ Interventions

Caffeine Withdrawal is Clinically debatable at this time and continued research is warranted in this area. It is recommended that Pregnant women and Teenagers restrict their consumption, as the side effects on the fetus/baby are still unknown. If the breast milk has excessive quantities of Caffeine an Infant can possibly Overdose. Treatments for Overdose are Activated Charcoal however if the Caffeine has penetrated the Gastrointestinal Tract a Laxative or Gastric Lavage would be another Preventive option.
