Description of the Diagnosis/Issue

Anxiety can manifest in various forms such as Panic Attacks, Separation Anxiety, specific Phobias, and Selective Mutism in Children. However it is best explained as Excessive Worry over future or past events that are not under an individual’s control. An example is that one will fail a test that they have not taken yet or that they failed after they completed the exam with no proof that the event will happen. Additionally, there is no rationale for this level of Anxiety because this is the person’s favorite subject and they never failed an exam in said subject.

Types of Treatment Modalities/ Interventions

Anxiety is treated by Medication and/or various forms of Therapeutic approaches including, but not limited to, Psychotherapy, CBT, Psychoanalysis, Narrative or Trauma-Focused Therapy. Science indicates that a Healthy and Nutritious Diet along with Exercise and Socialization are key components to a Healthy productive lifestyle and Mental State.
