Mr. Ryan Bodine was on the Dean’s list and obtained his Bachelor’s in Psychology and Master’s in Social Work, with Specialization in Trauma, from Stony Brook University. He was a Psych Honors Society Member with independent study areas in Nutrition, Mindfulness, Fitness and the Mind-Body connection. Mr. Bodine is Certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Ryan’s Private Practice is culturally sensitive and evidence-based with a focus on assisting adults, teens, couples, and families coping with trauma, anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, Self-esteem, anger and stress management to name just a few. Mr. Bodine utilizes a variety of treatment modalities to help manage symptomology. His philosophy is that no two people are alike and he applies an individualized treatment approach which is specific to the needs of the Client. He further believes, that change and relief are possible, and you do not have to go it alone-if you are having difficulty coping with life’s transitions, he is here to assist you every step of the way.

Ryan believes that Psychotherapy helps to empower and meet specific goals set by the client and where hope is achievable. He will provide a safe place where his Client’s can speak freely about their life’s experiences. Ryan will listen with curiosity and is intrigued by each person’s unique life story and ability to overcome adversity.

Previously, Mr. Bodine worked and responded to 911 Emergency calls as an EMT. Ryan has the ability to maintain his composure under severe pressure. He believes that this opportunity to service his community in this capacity gave him a unique perspective on humanity that he found deeply humbling and rewarding.

Mr. Bodine is respected by his Colleagues and is highly regarded within the community where he enjoys giving back by working with Christmas Magic to help package and deliver gifts to children all over Long Island. In his spare time he enjoys reading, rock climbing, yoga, and all things nerd culture.
